Ingredients
- Jowar
- Green gram dal
- Peanuts
- Chic peas
- Horse gram
- Cow peas
- onion
- green chilly
- coriander leaves
- mint
Method
- Soak jowar in water for the entire night.
- Soak other grains 1-2 hours.
- Cook jowar in a pressure cooker for 8 whistles.
- Boil all the grains until they are cooked through, then strain them.
- Place the pan on the stove and allow it to heat up.
- Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, jeera and chana dal to the pan.
- Once the cumin seeds and split chickpeas splutter, add red chilies, green chilies, onion, mint, and coriander, one by one.
- Once the spices are fried, add turmeric powder and sauté for 1 minute.
- Next, add the pre-cooked grains to the pan.
- Add salt and pepper, stir, cover, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now, your flavorful and healthy grain dish is ready to serve.
